The Sustainability Zone student winner is…

Pigganator333, congratulations! During every event we ask the scientists and moderators to nominate their top student — one who’s made the most of the event, shown enthusiasm and asked some really great questions. Pigganator333 from Fetlar Primary School was nominated by scientists for “some really great questions, showing a deep interest in science and thought about a future career.” They took part in both open live chats, and their ASK questions included “Have you ever been to Shetland?” and “How long have you been working as a scientist?” As the student winner, Pigganator333 will receive a certificate and a gift voucher. Well done to Pigganator333, and to everyone who took part. There were so many interesting questions, and comments, but there could only be one winner in each zone. Thank you from your winner – Liam!

Students! Did you do your profile survey? Check your email for a chance to win a £20 voucher and tell us what you think now! Thank you! I have had such a great time chatting to the students and other scientists, so I am absolutely chuffed to bits to have been chosen! I’d like to thank the students, and their teachers, for being so curious about science and sustainability. Whenever I do STEM engagement activities with primary school children, it makes me genuinely optimistic that the Earth is in safe hands. I am particularly encouraged by the questions we received during this event – bursting with curiosity … Continue reading
