• Question: Have you ever been to shetland? Also if you have did you go to Fetlar?

      Although I’m from Scotland I’ve never been to Shetland.
      I’d like to visit many of the Scottish islands.

      I’ve never been I’m afraid. One day I’ll venture that far north but it’s a long way from Bristol

      I’ve been to Shetland quite a few times for work and like it very much. Usually I go to Lerwick, but I went to Whalsay last year as they had a problem. If I have time I like to drop into St Ninian’s Isle and see the puffins at Sumburgh if I’m early for my flight home. Never been to Fetlar, but I’d like to. My colleague, Bill, visited the water works at Yell and Unst a few years ago – that’s not far from you.
