      There are lots of different types of ice, but I’ll just stick to the big ice sheets – Antarctica and Greenland. Each year, the weight of 82 billion elephants worth of ice melts from these ice sheets – and it’s getting more and more. So that’s 6.8 billion elephants per month (or 34,166,000,000 tonnes if you don’t like elephants!).
