  There are a few different types of ice – but I’ll stick with the big ice sheets for this one. There are two ice sheets, called Greenland and Antarctica. Antarctica looses 127 gigatonnes of ice each year, and Greenland looses 286 gigatonnes – and this is getting bigger and bigger. That’s the same as 82 billion elephants if you combine them!
