      My physics teacher Mr Weston!
I didn’t think I was very clever when I was at secondary school, because I got quite bad grades in French, German, Economics and History. Lots of teachers got annoyed with me because I struggled to pay attention in class, but Mr Weston saw past that, and helped me to reach my potential in his class, which really boosted my confidence. He then encouraged me to work hard and improve my grades in my bad subjects so I could go to university and become a scientist. It worked, and I’m still grateful!

A boss I used to work for inspired me in terms of how he managed to get his point across gently and get what he needed without you realising – he was able to make you want to do your best for him and was always calm and polite. I’m still working on being like him!
On the world scale, I like people who have vision and don’t accept things as they are or that they can’t change things – Elon Musk would fall into this category, although he’s had a few problems recently….
