      No-one because they’ve always been there even if we didn’t know what they were! A scientist called Copernicus is said to have discovered that the Earth moves around the Sun in the 1500’s, but people suspected it before that. Some people had thought for a long time that the Sun might be the same as the stars, only closer to us. One person was burnt at the stake for saying it!
