• Question: Who or what got you into science and how?

      No one person got me into science – looking back I was always heading that way; I think my parents encouraged me to ask questions to understand the world around me and I remember always being interested in the natural world. I remember asking my mum to buy all sorts of weird things – like chemicals so that I could grow crystals.
      I did have some pretty inspiring science teachers looking back, especially when I was a bit older. I didn’t realise at the time though.
