We’re sadly just a bit too heavy for that! Humans evolved to live on land and be hunters and gatherers. This means we’re really strong, can run for long distances and are very clever compared to other animals, but there isn’t really any need there for flying sadly. But we’ve used our cleverness to switch from finding berries to making airplanes – so that’s pretty cool! 🙂

Yep – we are way too heavy! Birds have hollow bones to make them very light.

Maybe we can! With some help anyway… technology is improving all the time, maybe in the future we’ll be zooming about on hoverboards!

We can, we just have to do it in big metal tubes with jet engines attached. We can’t fly ourselves because we’re too heavy and don’t have big enough wings to lift us off the ground or allow us to glide……we’ll just have to wait for the dragons to become trainable.
