In adults, teeth fall out because they don’t look after them properly! Drinking sugary drinks and not brushing twice a day is very bad for them because it makes the bits that attach the teeth to the gums much weaker. In children, the reason why you loose your baby teeth before your get your adult ones is because your mouth isn’t big enough yet for the proper teeth that you need! It takes a long time to grow adult teeth, so they are growing and growing, but you need some teeth before they are ready, so that you can eat food! Your body quickly makes some baby teeth that can last you about 10 years before your permanent ones are ready to step into action.
