I’ll say 93 out of 100! 🙂
I love it, it never gets boring – I get to do so many things as well as labwork like writing, presenting, teaching etc too. There are stressful parts when you have deadlines, or trying to figure out a new experiment that isn’t working, but then you make a nice discovery and remember it’s worth it!
It’s a fantastic place to work too – I’m surrounded by some of the cleverest people I’ve ever met (I sometimes wonder how I got here!) And you get to hear about what everyone else is working on – as well as plants and plant disease, there are people working on environment, medicines, human diseases and loads of other amazing stuff.
I love my job because I’m doing what I find interesting and I feel what I do is important to protect our green spaces. I’d give it 72, there are always good and bad days.
96.7 on a good day, 63.84 on a less good one (usually a Monday). It all depends what I’m doing as well – the score takes a big dip during boring meetings!
