• Question: Why dose ice melt under neath animals feet/

      So you might think that ice melts at 0°C….. but that’s not *always* true. Under lots and lots of pressure, the melting point of ice goes down, and ice can melt at lower temperatures. But this requires a HUGE amount of pressure – certainly not what is underneath animals feet.

      So any melting that happens underneath an animal is probably just because they have warm feet 🙂
