Question: do you like turtles

Yes they are very cute! There was an episode of David Attenboroughs ‘Planet Earth 2’ that told the story of hawksbill sea turtles on the island of Barbados – they come up onto the beach to lay eggs, and the baby turtles have to make their way back to the sea. But the bright city lights confuse them, and lots were going in the wrong direction. It’s a reminder of how humans (and the cities we build) can interfere with nature. This species is critically endangered, but luckily there is ‘The Barbados Sea Turtle Project’ – a group of people who save thousands of turtle lives every year 🙂

Not quite as cute as a turtle, but my grandad used to have a tortoise called Toby. I used to love feeding him lettuce when I was a little girl!
