• Question: how will you stop people from cutting down trees?

      Hi there,

      I don’t do this in my job (I’m mostly in a lab working on potato disease) but good question, it’s a very important problem!
      One of the ways for us to stop deforestation is to reduce, reuse and recycle. So using less paper for example, using re-usable cups and cutlery instead of throw away ones, and recycling the paper and plastic etc that we do use. And spread the word to make sure friends and family know to do the same!
      Recycling paper means that fewer trees need to be cut down to make new paper.
