      Hi Michelle, Crikey that’s a tricky one. Long is an odd word to choose because the earth is almost a sphere, there are lots of ways to measure a sphere: you can measure from one point to another through the sphere (for example UK to Australia) this is called the diameter, which is 12,742km.
      12742km = 12,742,000m = 1,274,200,000cm = 12,742,000,000mm.
