Question: What happens to the stuff we reycle

It depends what it is but it basically gets broken down and turned into something else. This takes a bit of energy to do this, that’s why re-using something is better than recycling. We effectively recycle water when we clean it up at a sewage treatment works so it can be returned to the environment.
