      Hi Crazy Cat,

My favourite animal is the Octopus! I saw several of them when I went diving this year, the way they move in the water is amazing and they are so intelligent! Did you see the blue planet episode where the octopus covers itself in shells to avoid detection by a shark? I also think it’s really cool that they can change colour to blend into their environment.

Did you know that a mother octopus will guard her eggs for months without eating? In fact, there’s a deep sea octopus that guarded her eggs without eating for 4.5 years!!! Sadly this means that the mother octopus will die when her babies finally hatch 🙁

Tricky question! I would probably say the Narwhal. Their big tusk is actually a tooth that grows through their skull, and they can use it for navigation! Imagine navigating with your teeth! :O

Hi Crazy Cat, I really love pigs! So cute, clever, and have lots of personality 🙂 And my kitten Maia is currently sitting on my knee so I should really say cats too! Although I really wish my cat would stop trying to burrow under my bedcovers at 4 in the morning…

My favourite animal is a dog. My dog is great, my old dog was great, even bad dogs are still good dogs at heart. Nothing makes me smile more than coming home and having my dog sit on my lap and look genuinely happy to see me.

That’s really tough! Dogs are great, but I recently had an encounter with an alpaca and they were brilliant. So good natured – a bit like a small llama but with better manners.
