      Clouds! Ha HA!
Seriously, water gets evaporated by the sun and rises from lakes and oceans. As the water vapour rises it cools so that it stops being a gas (condenses) and forms tiny droplets of liquid water – a cloud! Within the cloud the droplets join together until they are too big and heavy to stay in the air – at which point they fall to Earth as rain (or snow)
