Question: Where does water come from?

If you mean our tap water, it comes from lakes, rivers and pumped from deep underground. Different parts of the country get water from different places (it can taste different too). It has to be cleaned up and filtered before you can drink it – the most important thing is that any bugs that could make you ill are killed by a process called disinfection.
